Layby Terms and Conditions

At Renshaws, we offer a convenient lay-by option, allowing you to reserve your bike or cycling gear and pay for it over time.

Please review the following terms and conditions before proceeding with your lay-by agreement.

1. Deposit and Payment Terms

• A 20% deposit is required at the start of your lay-by.
• The lay-by period is 12 weeks, unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.
• The remaining balance must be paid in full by the end of the lay-by period.
  

2. Collection and Final Payment

• Your item must be fully paid for and collected by the end of the 12-week period.
• If the full balance is not paid and the product is not collected within the period, the 20% deposit will be forfeited as a restocking fee.

3. Early Settlement

• You can settle the balance and collect your item before the end of the 12-week period by making full payment.

4. Cancellation and Refund

• If you decide to cancel your lay-by before the end of the term, the deposit will be forfeited as a restocking fee.
• No refunds will be given on the deposit once the lay-by agreement is signed.

5. Product Availability

• Renshaws will hold your product aside for the duration of the lay-by period.
• If the balance is not paid in full by the end of the lay-by period, the product may be sold to another customer without further notice.
